چکیده

MATERIALS AND METHODS: We report on our treatment of 6 limbs in 3 patients (age range, 19–36 years). In each case we applied fat graft at the medial side of the limb 150–175 cc. There were minimal deformity (Langenskiöld stage 1), patients had only aesthetic complaint, not pain or osteoartrit. The varus angulation at the tibia was measured and osteoarthritis was evaluated with radiographs.Patient satisfaction was asked. Under general anesthesia, fat graft was harvested from the abdomen. After santrifugation for three times at 3000rpm, fat graft was injected to the medial side of the limb (150175 cc for both side)

Use of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy for Lower Limb Bypass Incisions

Objective: The use of negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) for post-surgical cardiothoracic, orthopedic, plastic, and obstetric and gynecologic procedures has been described. However, there are no data regarding its use for lower limb bypass incisions. We aimed to investigate the outcomes of NPWT in preventing surgical site infection (SSI) in patients with lower limb arterial bypass incisions...

Critical lower limb ischemia in Leriche syndrome following acute myocardial infarction: limb salvage with an axillofemoral bypass

The aortoiliac occlusive disease, known as Leriche syndrome, primarily merits an aortobifemoral bypass graft which is the standard surgical treatment of critical limb ischemia. However, axillofemoral bypass grafting can be also used as an alternative treatment in highrisk patients. The indications include intraabdominal graft infections, older age, and worsened overall status. In this article, ...

Left Subclavian Artery Occlusion: Femoro-Axillary Artery Retrograde Bypass

The treatment tactics for subclavian artery occlusion include the more commonly used endovascular therapy rather than surgical intervention. We present a case of a 61-year-old woman with dialysis-dependent chronic renal failure who experienced left finger necrosis in the left upper extremity. To salvage the limb, we performed femoro-axillary (fem-ax) artery bypass using an autologous saphenous ...
